Villa Angelo (Sleeps 8)

Villa Angelo is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, luxury property and part of a group of early 18th Century stone houses which are just a 5 minute walk to the main square of Motovun. South-facing and with a large terrace overlooking the valley below, this sunny property is one of the best places to stay in Croatia.

The property has been lovingly restored over three decades using the finest local materials. Arranged over 3 floors and 250 square metres, the building has three bathrooms, and three generous double bedrooms each with Air Conditioning and a Hypnos super-king size bed. The attic bedroom has two additional single beds, therefore ideal for children. The large living room with three French windows give on to a full length loggia and terrace.  Wireless Internet is also available throughout the property.

The infinity pool, steam room, and garden are exclusively for Villa Angelo’s guests from the beginning of July to the last weekend in August. Although the garden and pool connect to the neighbouring property where the Host (Ben) and his family live, they will not use them during this time.

Access to the pool and garden is via a separate entrance on the main street, approximately 20 metres from Villa Angelo’s front door, as the garden is two storeys below the house.

Due to Motovun being a hilltop town, as well as the parking between 100m and 500m from the property, guests need to be good on their feet.  

Domestic Services

  • During your stay, the house manager will be available by phone and lives close by should you require her assistance.

  • The Garden and Pool will be maintained weekly.

  • Extra services, such as babysitting and a private chef are possible and charged at cost.

  • Up to 2 Cots and 2 high chairs are available on request, as well as a baby bath.

  • A car is essential for your holiday in Motovun.

  • In order to make life easy, avoid crossing borders and having to get a vignette for the Slovenian motorway, we would recommend flying in and out of Pula airport.

  • Pula airport, Croatia - 60 minute drive.

  • Rijeka airport, Croatia – 80 minute drive.

  • Trieste airport, Italy – 90 minute drive.

  • Ljubljana airport, Slovenia - 120 minute drive.

  • Venice airport, Italy - 180 minute drive, alternatively take the boat from Venice to Porec or Rovinj and rent a car from there.
